Step 1

To create surface for an object, first you must select the polygons as shown in the picture.

Step 2

After that, just press Q key to bring out the Change Surface menu. You need to name the selection part as bodywhite and then change the color to white. When you have finished, press OK.

Step 3

Next, press " key to invert the selection.

Step 4

Now, you need to name the selection as body and change the color to grey.
